About the clinic

Kathrine is a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics (2013) and owner of Birch Gynaecology and Fertility. She has many years of experience from university hospitals, fertility clinics and private practice. She has previously been head of the fertility clinic at Zealand University Hospital, CEO and clinic manager of a private fertility chain and chairman of the Danish Fertility Society.

Kathrine has written over 40 scientific articles, as well as book chapters and guidelines. She has given many lectures both nationally and internationally and also holds a Master in Public Management (MPG) from CBS, which strengthens her focus on quality, development and safe patient care.

In the clinic, Kathrine emphasises high professionalism, individual assessment and clear communication so that each patient is met with professionalism, empathy and real involvement in decision-making.

She has a special interest in menopausal hormone therapy, fertility treatment, early pregnancy and counselling on women's reproductive health throughout life.

Kathrine is active in research and holds a PhD from Rigshospitalet's Fertility Clinic on fertility counselling and hormones. She teaches colleagues and participates in professional committees where she helps develop the gynaecological services of the future.

Rosa Frøslev is the clinic's unifying focal point and the first person our patients meet with a smile. As clinic manager, she brings structure, presence and professionalism to all everyday tasks.

Rosa is service-minded to the core and has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and at ease - both at reception and behind the scenes. With her strong organisational skills and the ability to keep many balls in the air, she acts as the clinic's ideal octopus, keeping track of everything from calendars to patient management and administrative processes.

She is an experienced administrator with a keen attention to detail and a passion for her profession, which is reflected in her commitment and dedication to giving every patient a first-class experience.

Rosa has been with the clinic since 2017.

Helle Bach graduated in 1990 and has over 25 years of experience in gynaecology and fertility.

Since 2013, she has been a central part of the clinic and works closely with women and couples undergoing fertility treatment, providing reassurance and clarity through professional counselling and professional sparring.

Helle has many years of experience with ultrasound scans and has a keen clinical judgement. She provides counselling for medical abortions and is often the person patients talk to when they call in for test results.

Helle is professionally strong, thorough, empathetic and has a special eye for patients' needs, which makes her a safe and competent support in all processes.

Inger qualified as a midwife in 2003 and has since worked as both a labour and fertility midwife, including at StorkKlinik, where for many years she helped people from all over Europe have the babies they wanted.

In 2024, she joined Birch Fertility and Gynaecology. Inger is known for her strong commitment, her professional curiosity and her warm way of meeting patients. She manages to create a sense of security - even when situations can feel vulnerable - and helps many to experience a gynaecological examination as more manageable.

Inger assists Kathrine in the clinic and also performs inseminations, ultrasound scans, blood tests and cell tests.
