We process both general and sensitive personal data - depending on what is relevant to your process.<\/p>\n

Name, address, contact details, social security number, gender, family and social relationships, employment and education.<\/p>\n

SENSITIVE INFORMATION:<\/h3>\n

Health information (medical records, test results, scans, etc.), sexual conditions, ethnic background and any religious information.<\/p>\n

WHY WE PROCESS YOUR DATA<\/h3>\n

  • Communicate with other healthcare professionals and hospitals<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Manage medication orders and prescriptions<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Issue declarations and certificates Report information to laboratories, quality databases and relevant authorities<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Settle services with the region<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Comply with our legal obligations, such as record keeping and data security<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Handling enquiries, complaints, supervision and any disputes<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Contribute to statistics and research when it is legal <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Providing us with information is voluntary - but without it we cannot investigate, treat or advise you properly.<\/p>\n

    WHERE WE GET INFORMATION FROM<\/h3>\n

    Where we get information from We collect information directly from you and - when relevant - from other healthcare professionals, such as hospitals or your own doctor.<\/p>\n

    DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION<\/h3>\n

    We only disclose information when it is necessary and lawful. For example, this can be for:<\/p>\n

    • Other healthcare professionals in connection with your treatment programme<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Hospital laboratories, clinical quality databases and authorities<\/em><\/li>\n
    • The region's settlement office<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Pharmacies and the Danish Medicines Agency via the prescription server<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Referring doctor and in some cases hospital in discharge summaries<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Insurance companies and relatives - only with your consent<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Prescription and lab rules<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        When processing or disclosure requires consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect processing that has already been carried out.<\/p>\n

        DATA PROCESSORS<\/h3>\n

        Your data is stored with our data processor, who works according to our instructions:<\/p>\n

        STORAGE<\/h3>\n

        We keep your data for as long as necessary for your treatment and for at least 10 years after the last medical record. In special cases, such as complaints or compensation cases, data may be stored for longer.<\/p>\n
